This unit is the section where rolls are guided to slitting section. There are two heads clamping the material that is guided by two reels. Clamped material is sent to the next unit by the top hold down roll.
Deformed parts of the roll coming from the decoilers are corrected and sent to slitting section. This unit consists of 7 leveller reels. First two groups are receiving group and vertical stroke is driven by the hydraulic motor and rotation is induced by the reducer motor.
Hydraulic guillotine shears designed as a unit integrated to the leveller unit is used to cut any or deformed part of the roll.
Roll is reduced to the desired size by using rotating blades. Bottom shaft is stable, top shaft moves up and down. Main shafts of the slitter are installed on 3 steel frames, front frame is designed as a moving unit in order to facilitate the slitter attachment.
This is the unit where edge burr remaining from the slitting operation is recoiled. Edge burrs of the coil are recoiled by using two independent recoilers. Edge burr recoilers are driven by a reducer motor.
It is the section designed to tension and recoil the strips. Strips leaving the loop slot are guided to the recoiler unit by separator knifes arranged on the idler shaft for the purpose of separation.
In this section, front edges of the cut strips are folded and they are guided to the extraction unit following the completion of recoiling. Edges of the cut strips are clamped by a hydraulically driven locking mechanism. The clamping diameter is increased during the clamping. During recoiling, separator knifes arranged on the top hold down unit ensure the smooth recoiling preventing the entangling of strips. Following the recoiling, clamping locks release the material and a hydraulic scraper guides strips to the extractor unit.
STRIP HOPPER
Recoiled strips are guided to the outlet by hydraulic reels and they are supported under the strips until they arrive to the outlet unit.
STRIP OUTLET UNIT
This is the outlet unit where strips collected from the recoiler unit are sent. The unit designed with 4 levers rotates around its own axis with the help of a hydraulic motor driven mechanism and brings the strips to a position ready for delivery to the liftings system.
